Staff Members and Volunteer Honored at Board Meeting
We were so proud to honor Forest Hill's employees and volunteer of the year at last week's board meeting.
Congratulations to our teacher of the year Julie Hart, classified employee of the year Allie Hardy, and volunteer of the year Vartika Srivastava!
Julie Hart is an outstanding fifth grade teacher, mentor, leader, and positive force on campus who truly believes a child's education is a partnership between home and school. Julie dedicates a lot of her own time to professional development to support her STEAM and SEL (social-emotional learning) focused classroom. Thank you, Julie, for your dedication to Forest Hill!
Allie Hardy is a talented behaviorist who assists many Falcons in improving their behavior. She constantly goes above and beyond with her support of students and teachers. She has a huge heart and takes the time to get to know her students' individual needs and preferences. Allie, thank you for the energy and kindness you pour into your work!
Vartika Srivastava has done an incredible job this year spearheading a series of multicultural assemblies that our students and teachers have found to be valuable and enriching. She has given even more of her time this year as our PTA Vice President of Fundraising, she volunteers for lunch yard duty when we need extra help, she is a Living Classroom volunteer, and helps her children's teachers as well! A huge thank you to Vartika and all of our amazing volunteers here at Forest Hill.
