3rd Graders Used STEM Skills to "Save Fred"
Oh no, Fred the gummy worm fell overboard!

Third graders in Mrs. Ferrari's and Mrs. Sennewald's classes used their collaboration and critical thinking skills to solve a STEM problem: how do we rescue Fred, turn his boat right side up, and get his life vest on without touching him with our fingers? Students took time to map out their plans and then reflected on how well their ideas worked. What a fun way to think outside the box to solve a problem!
