Young American Poetry Digest Winners

Earlier this year, ten Forest Hill students participated in a voluntary national poetry contest by the Young American Poetry Digest.

Earlier this year, ten Forest Hill students participated in a voluntary national poetry contest by the Young American Poetry Digest.  This is the twenty-sixth year of the publication, which highlights the talents of young poets and provides a national audience for their most creative poetry.  This year’s theme was Haiku, a short Japanese form of poetry.  I am pleased to announce that all ten students were accepted for inclusion in their 2020 poetry book.  A complimentary book will be featured in our Forest Hill library for all students to enjoy.  Congratulations to our ten winners!
