What a Rush! Searching for Gold at Forest Hill

Fourth graders bring history to life with Gold Rush day at Forest Hill.

Fourth grade's annual Gold Rush Day was a hit! Students got to experience panning for gold (including the long and difficult process to get the materials ready) as well as some of the more fun aspects of this time in California's history! Students even got to practice their math facts while playing card games. Thank you to Ms. Lee, Mrs. Durham, and Mrs. Layton for organinzing the event, and thank you to all our volunteers for running the activities!
