Students Create a Living "Wax Museum"

Third graders learn about and impersonate famous people as part of their social studies lessons.

This week, 3rd grade hosted a biography wax museum. Students researched and wrote about the life of a famous person (from history or current times) and came to school dressed as that person. When in "museum" mode, students stood as still as statues waiting for visitors to come ask for information about their person.

It was incredible to see the creativity and dedication students put into their performances! We got to meet and learn about people such as Amelia Earhart, Jane Goodall, Jackie Robinson, Kamala Harris, and King Tut. Great job, third grade!
