New digital marquee signs at all CUSD schools are making it faster and easier to share announcements with families and the community. To accommodate neighbors’ wishes, we’ve adjusted the signs so they operate from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Friday, and 10 AM to 4 PM on weekends. We reduced power/brightness from 100% down to 25%, and we’re exploring ways to make the internal fans quieter.  Otherwise, the signs are proving very helpful in notifying people of important dates and events at the schools so they may plan accordingly.

Children who don't read during the summer can lose up to two months of learning by the time they return to school in the fall. That’s why our teachers have put together this list of options for parents who want to maintain or develop their child’s literacy during the summer.
