The Fall Book Fair generated over $3,300 for the Forest Hill and classroom libraries to purchase books!  Plus, our wonderful community purchased nearly 100 books for classrooms from the Teacher Wish Lists.  Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and helped make the Fair possible, and to everyone who shopped at the Fair to support reading at our school!

On November 30th, we will be practicing our Lockdown Procedures.  This is an opportunity for our students and staff to practice what we would do if there were a safety situation during the school day.  This drill will be handled in a calm, relaxed manner to ensure our students feel safe. We will have a retired fire captain on campus to monitor our drill.

Our Country Faire was a day filled with fun, food and beautiful weather. The event had a true community feel. So many current and past families attended. The rock wall, giant slide and new games under the red and white festive tents were a hit, along with favorites such as the cakewalk and the new photo booth. The Silent Auction and Country Faire raised a record amount for our school programs! Many books were purchased in our Book Fair too! A big thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped throughout the day.

A big thank you to all volunteers who helped make this year a huge success, especially the Silent Auction leads (Manika Sawhney and Jill Oportus-Kick) and the Country Fair Committee Leads (Melanie Simpson and Nicole Salacain).  Thank you to our Book Faire Committe Volunteers and lead Cynthia Mount.
