Forest Hill Elementary School

Much to Celebrate

It is hard to believe that we are at the end of another great school year.

As we move quickly to the end of the 2021-2022 school year, I am filled with gratitude and admiration for our students, staff, and families whose dedication to one another and to the mission of learning has made educational excellence possible for our students. We have much to celebrate.

To our fifth grade students who are being promoted to middle school, you have remained committed to your studies, grown in ways you might never have imagined, and persevered in times of challenge and great change. As you leave Forest Hill and embark on your journey to middle school, I hope you will remember with fondness the special people who’ve been alongside you in elementary school, the lessons you’ve learned, the belief that you can achieve anything you set your mind to, and always maintain a lifelong love of learning. You will be missed!

It is with pride that I commend our entire student body for all they have learned this year. Not just with their studies, but with each other as we reconnected  in person to build positive relationships with one another. Our families are integral to student success, and I am grateful for all of you. Your engagement is a cornerstone to your child’s educational journey and it is a joy and privilege to be educational partners with you.

I am especially grateful to all the staff at Forest Hill for all the heartfelt dedication to students and each other during this year. I’m continually impressed and appreciative of the hard work and expertise of Team Forest Hill. It is the people who make Forest Hill a great place to learn and I truly believe that when we work together, we are stronger.

As we’ve steadily moved to more typical school experiences, I am optimistic about what is in store for our students and community this summer and when we resume school next year.

I also wanted to thank you for the last three years. It has been a pleasure serving as principal and for the work we did together.  There will always be a special place in my heart for Forest Hill. Setting sights for the 2022-23 school year, we look forward to welcoming the new principal, Ms. Chalfant. She is excited to join Forest Hill.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to lead this dynamic school. Whether you are a student, a family member, or part of the team, you inspire me every day. I wish you a wonderful summer and all the best.

Best Regards,

Anna Koulis Chitwood, Principal
