Computer Science Week

Today marks the start of Computer Science Education Week!  Highlights of this week are the Hour of Code activities. These activities are an introduction to computer science and are designed to demystify "coding" and show that anyone can learn the basics to be a maker, creator, and an innovator.  The activities provide a variety of self-guided tutorials that anybody can do....on a browser, tablet, or smartphone!

Below is a link to these activities.  While many teachers may spend some time doing activities in class, we invite you to spend time with your child(ren) doing some of the activities at home! When you click on the link below, you will be taken to the start page.  On the left of this page, you can use the filter to narrow choices based on grade level, experience, and type of device. It will then give you suggestions of things to try.
