| Forest Hill Students Represented at Santa Clara Special Olympics | June 8, 2015 - 12:46pm |
The Special Games is a 1- day event of physical endeavor and success for each student who attends. Each May about 1,000 severely challenged kids from both public and private schools from all over the Santa Clara County attend the event. Students receive a free Special Games T-shirt, to wear the day of the games. The students began with a big opening ceremony and parade around the football field, with banners, flags, and lots of cheering! Following the parade, each student participated in 5-7 events, such as the 50-yard dash, softball throw, obstacle course, disc throw, and many more. |

There is an upcoming STEM Event on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 10am-4pm at San Jose Reid Hillview Airport - 2500 Cunningham Ave, San Jose. This is not a Forest Hill event, but it's a great way to continue your child's education during summer break. What a great year we have had here at Fabulous Forest Hill! Each day was filled with thinking, learning, and living together as a community. WOW! What an amazing event we had last weekend! For those who missed it, we had our first annual Forest Hill STEM Festival called Planet Falcon. We had booths on many educational and engaging topics. We also had many community organizations come to our event as well. Thank you to the Campbell Fire Department; Rural Ambulance Company; Open Space Preserve and the Campbell Amateur Radio Service. Our own students lead the following booths for everyone to explore and learn. |

The 2015- 2016 Student Calendar has been included in the Friday Folder, please make note of student holidays and arrange travel plans for the coming year accordingly. If you are planning to have your child miss school for a trip, please contact Miss Jackie as soon as possible. There are policies and procedures for students who miss school. |

Pre-ordered yearbooks were distributed to students on Friday May 29th. If you did not pre order a yearbook and would like to purchase one, they will be on sale after school at the picnic tables and in the school office for $30. We will sell until we run out. |

 Stop by before Tuesday, June 9th and find your missing sweatshirts, jackets, sweaters, hats, and lunch pails. All remaining clothes will be given to a local shelter. |
