Traffic Issues

As a community, we need to work together to solve the traffic issues that occur each day. We will be having a strong campaign next year to reduce the traffic on McCoy Avenue. Please create a plan for your family for next year if you currently drive to Forest Hill.

I strongly encourage families to do one of the following next school year.

• Walk to School everyday
• Start a Walking School Bus with your neighbors. One parent picks up a group of children in your neighborhood and walks them to school.
• Park in the neighborhood and walk the rest of the way. This would help decrease the number of cars on McCoy Ave. There is a back gate on Sillaci Drive that families could use also.
• Park at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church and walk your student onto the campus.
