Forest Hill Students Represented at Santa Clara Special Olympics

The Special Games is a 1- day event of physical endeavor and success for each student who attends. Each May about 1,000 severely challenged kids from both public and private schools from all over the Santa Clara County attend the event. Students receive a free Special Games T-shirt, to wear the day of the games. The students began with a big opening ceremony and parade around the football field, with banners, flags, and lots of cheering! Following the parade, each student participated in 5-7 events, such as the 50-yard dash, softball throw, obstacle course, disc throw, and many more.
