The following students will have their artwork on display at the Campbell Union School District “Best of Class” Art Gallery at the District Office: Ray Huang, Sadie Beecher, Stephanie Chen, Yicen Wang, Noah Lee, Naomi Baba, Sophia Shtargot and Madelyn Wu. 
All TK-5th grade students will have a piece of art on display at the Year End Art Social on Friday, June 7 from 5pm-7pm in the cafeteria.

Today, Thursday our PTA is asking families to bring in an extra brown bag lunch for a friend in need.  We will be collecting bag lunches in front of the office AND at the drop off loop until 8:30am. Look for the brown buckets at these locations. For a complete list of acceptable food items, please check the flyer in your child's Friday folder or via PeachJar. All lunches will be delivered to Santa Maria Urban Ministries that morning and distributed that day.  Thank you for your generous donations!

Come to Wellness Week Activities!

May 13 – 17 is Wellness Week. As May is Mental Health Awareness Month, we have planned many activities to help families be well and to spotlight the importance of overall wellness for our school community. Presentations for students, staff and parents will take place at the Monroe Middle School campus, in addition to lunch-time activities that focus on ways to attain mental, physical, and social-emotional wellness.

May 23 Event to Celebrate Employees and Volunteers of the Year

On May 23, 2019, the Campbell Union School District (CUSD) community will celebrate 12 teachers, 17 classified employees, and 12 school volunteers who are nominees for annual awards. Only four of these honorees will be chosen for the annual district-level honors and will represent CUSD in county and regional programs. Several administrators also will be recognized for earning regional awards from professional education organizations.

The announcements will take place at the district’s annual Recognition Event, Thursday, May 23, 2019, beginning at 6 p.m., in Castlemont’s Multipurpose Room.
