Forest Hill Elementary School

Summer Reading Programs

Barnes and Noble

Scholastic also offers a Summer Reading Challenge. To participate, students must be registered by an educator as part or a class or group. Once registered, students receive a username and password.
Besides offering fun weekly events and prizes for reading, the Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) is offering all CUSD students free library accounts. With their account, students can access library materials online from home or school, including: ebooks, databases like World Book Encyclopedia, homework help (from retired teachers) through Brainfuse, and more. After signing up online, students may upgrade to a full-use library card by visiting a SCCLD library. I will send a separate email next week with instructions on how to sign up students for SCCLD accounts.
