PTA Elections

PTA Board elections are coming up in April and we are still looking for nominees to fill some very important board positions.  The most important on the list are Treasurer and Secretary.  According to PTA rules and bylaws, Forest Hill cannot have a PTA if these two positions are not filled.  Here is a brief description of duties for each position.

Treasurer - Work with Board to create the budget each year, bank deposits, write checks, update budget throughout the year.  Approximately 3-4 hours per week.

Secretary - Take notes at board meetings and association meetings, create meeting minutes for PTA records.

VP Membership - Manages membership drive in the fall, including help with direct donation drive.

Financial Secretary - Collect and count Ice Cream Friday money, help cashier on day of Country Faire in October.

If the PTA cannot fill these positions, students and teachers will not receive the many benefits that our fundraising provides such as the TK-3rd grade Art Program, Field Trips, STEM Program, 3-5 grade English/Language Arts Program, Classrooms Supplies, and much more.
