Principal's Message

I wanted to take this opportunity to share more information about the purpose of our math-a-thon fundraiser. The Common Core State Standards were created to ensure all students are ready for success after high school. Our students are preparing to enter a world in which colleges and businesses are demanding more than ever before. A part of this success will be shifting learning to reflect our technological society. Today technology is no longer a stand-alone subject and is integrated to support the learning of core subjects. While our district does provide technology equipment and funding yearly, the goal of our Forest Hill math-a-thon fundraiser is to go above the district standard in supporting technology integration. Our district is doing a lot to support this but I know as a community we would like to do more. I appreciate the support our community gives to us each year with the generous donations and look forward to your support in making the math-a-thon fundraiser a success.
