Second Grade has finished 6 projects this year. We started with cats in the style of Paul Klee for the Square One project. Next we read The Dot and did dot paintings for International Dot Day. Then we read the book Some Birds and drew birds filled with shape and line. Next we learned about quilts from an area called Gees Bend in Alabama and made a class quilt out of paper. Then we read the book Blue Dog and drew dogs with a winter theme. Our last project was a watercolor in the style of Claude Monet. ~Mrs. Hardt
