Walk-a-Thon Event

Happy Spring! This Friday, April 19th is our annual Walk-A-Thon fundraiser. All family members are welcome to walk with us. We begin walking at 1:00pm. This is a one of my favorite events of the year. I love seeing our community come together to cheer and support our students. This fundraiser helps cover the cost of student field trips, Mrs. Hardt's Art Program and our school librarian Mrs. Reed. Thank you for your donations!

Lunch For A Friend

Today, Thursday our PTA is asking families to bring in an extra brown bag lunch for a friend in need.  We will be collecting bag lunches in front of the office AND at the drop off loop until 8:30am. Look for the brown buckets at these locations. For a complete list of acceptable food items, please check the flyer in your child's Friday folder or via PeachJar. All lunches will be delivered to Santa Maria Urban Ministries that morning and distributed that day.  Thank you for your generous donations!

Continuing the success from last year, we will again be collecting books throughout the month of April. All books will be donated to help children in the South Bay. San Jose Night Walks is an organization that makes weekly visits to San Jose neighborhoods with high crime rates. Books are distributed every Friday night during summer and are in great demand. Currently their inventory is very low. Please drop off your books outside the school library by April 30th.
